The University of Iceland

The University of Iceland was established 17th June 1911. The University of Iceland is one of the largest employers in the country. The university employs around one thousand permanent staff and around two thousand external lecturers and temporary staff. Currently over 14,000 people study at the university in twenty-five faculties.

All sessions will take place in Askja. Lunches will be served in Háskólatorg, which is 3-5 minutes walk from Askja. Reception will be held in the City Hall (walking distance from campus).  A google map of campus can be found here.
