2nd Call for Papers – Deadline 31 January 2013

Dear colleagues,

We invite you once more to submit your abstract to the 5th Nordic Geographers Meeting, which will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland 11-14 June 2013.

This international geography conference is held in one of the Nordic countries every other year, and has proved to be an important and inspiring arena for geographers to meet and exchange their views. We are now accepting submissions of abstracts for paper presentations, workshops and posters at the upcoming conference.

The conference theme this time around is Responsible Geographies and is meant to remind geographers of the responsibilities that come with the task of ‘earth-writing’.  Under this broad heading, a number of sessions are now listed on the conference website, covering most aspects of geographic enquiry.

We encourage you to study the list of sessions and to submit your abstract, for participating in what promises to be an exciting conference.

The deadline for submitting an abstract is 31 January 2013.

For further information and practical details, please visit the conference website:  https://conference.hi.is/ngm2013/

We hope to see you in Reykjavík in June 2013!
